Why I chose Family Medicine:  I believe Family Medicine allows you to acquire broad medical knowledge to provide empathic and relationship-based care to diverse patient populations. Furthermore, it opens the door to a world filled with multiple opportunities for professional development. Most importantly, Family Medicine empowers you to overthrow barriers to community health and wellbeing.  Why I chose the IU Health Primary Care Central Indianapolis Family Medicine Residency Program: While searching for the ideal residency program, I looked for residency programs that would provide me with experiences to become a well-rounded physician. I believe IU encompasses everything a resident needs. Throughout the whole virtual interview process, I perceived positive energy, and there was a sense of camaraderie among everyone. Somehow, without having even visited the program in person, I knew it was the right place.  Interests and hobbies:   During my free time I enjoy traveling since it allows me to explore new cultures and culinary traditions. I like sports in general, but I particularly love watching and playing soccer.
