During my medical and graduate training I learned that I loved the physical challenge of surgery and the potential to make real impact at a critical point in a patient's life.What intrigued you about IU School of Medicine?Seeing how well the residents and faculty get along was a huge selling point. Returning to my home city was a major bonus.What do you want to learn most from the neurosurgery faculty and residents?I'd like to learn how to effectively balance everything on my plate so that I can do my best in the hospital and also maintain a healthy life at home.What are some of your hobbies?I enjoy developing custom cheesecake recipes. I am a huge fan of JRR Tolkien and George RR Martin. I recently started playing golf.
